Celebrate an all-time motoring icon with the Tamiya Mini Cooper Racing (MB-01). This 1/10 scale radio control model kit recreates the British Motor Corporation Mini as it existed between 1959 and 2000, staying true to the car’s minimalist design and compact proportions. Supplied as an assembly kit on Tamiya’s MB-01 platform in short-wheelbase, front motor/front wheel drive (FF) configuration, the HC-58747 pairs authentic looks with a satisfying build experience.

At the heart of the model is Tamiya’s compact, versatile MB-01 2WD chassis. Engineered for flexibility and straightforward maintenance, it allows configuration changes without removing the battery pack, motor or R/C equipment from the centre frame. Symmetrical suspension components and unitised sections help streamline assembly and servicing while supporting dependable on-road performance.

The faithfully styled Mini Cooper Racing body is moulded in lightweight polycarbonate and features updated markings. Period-style 8-spoke wheels are paired with grippy 60D radial tyres, and an electronic speed controller (ESC) is included to get you closer to running once your radio gear, servo and battery are installed. The 210mm short wheelbase complements the Mini’s classic stance and compact footprint.
