Chosen as an ideal start to a new Tau army, or a powerful upgrade to an existing one.

Amid the darkness of the far future, the Tau Empire is a relatively recently emerged threat. A race of blue-skinned humanoids who seek to join all of the great races of the galaxy under their own command in the name of the greater good. Shrouded by Warp Storms for millennia they underwent an extremely rapid technological evolution and are now one of the most advanced and devastating races in the Universe.

The T’au Empire is a master of long-range combat and often are seen to avoid close-quarters fighting when possible. Employing the use of powerful Battlesuits and specialised weapon systems such as the Rail Cannon during battle, they are capable of punching holes clean through enemy armour with extreme velocity projectiles from great distances. In cases where close combat is unavoidable, the Tau will deploy its auxiliaries forces, such as Kroot warriors, to handle the situation while they offer fire support.

Throughout their history, the T’au has conquered and colonized many great star systems, and their progress shows no sign of slowing. Strike forces have been seen throughout the galaxy in multiple sectors, with reconnaissance drones leading the way before the first salvo truly announces their arrival.

Kroot Hunting pack

One of the many xenos species found within the T’au empire, the Kroot originated from the planet Perch. A race of savage humanoids known for their combat prowess and savagery, they have the unique ability to consume the flesh of their enemies and absorb the genetic traits of their defeated enemy.

Tau Combat Patrol

Lead the T’au with a Cadre Firebase supported from the rear by a squad of Fire Warriors, while the Stealth Battlesuits and the Ghostkeel Battlesuit use their optic camouflage to attack and flank the enemy.

This highly detailed, multi-part plastic box set contains;

• 1x Ethereal
• 1x Cadre Fireblade
• 1x XV95 Ghostkeel Battlesuit with 2x Drones
• 3x XV25 Stealth Battlesuits with 1x Drone and 1x Homing Beacon
• 10x Fire Warriors with 2x Drones and 1x Support Turret. These can be built as a Strike Team or a Breacher team

Crisis Battlesuits

XV8 Crisis Battlesuits are awarded to those warriors which show particular aptitude among the ranks of the Fire Warriors and only then may they join the ranks of the Shas’ui. XV8 squadrons are used as the general combat Battlesuits of any Tau Strikeforce, and can be armed with an array of weapon loadouts and combat support systems, making them one of the most flexible units in the Tau arsenal.

Given armoured battlesuits to not only protect them but allow them to carry and use multiple weapon systems to combat all kinds of enemies from infantry, monsters to tanks. The suits also provide enhance sensors and abilities to increase their speed and strength so they can leap in to the fray of war with ease on their repulsor jets and crush their opponents beneath their massive bulk. Particularly experienced of able XV8 pilots may be inducted into the ranks of their Commander’s elite bodyguard and upgraded with further combat support systems to provide to increase their destructive firepower. Each battle suit can be aided by a set of drones equipped as either gun, shield or markers capabilities.

This Boxed Set contains 9 plastic miniatures of 3 Crisis Battlesuits with a variety of weapon options and 6 drones.
